Highschool Math Mentorship

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Toronto is proud to offer a mentorship program pairing high school students interested in the field of mathematics study and research, with graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and faculty in the field. Students will be working on a math research project of their interests under the guidance of their mentor.

Mentees will meet with their mentors on a regular basis either virtually or at the downtown location of UofT on a schedule that fits both of them about once or twice per month with an initial meeting of all participants in January and a closing ceremony to showcase their project to all mentees, mentors and family.

Please note this is a highly competitive program and some applicants may not receive a placement. We will strive to pair as many applicants as we can!

Successful candidates will be contacted by early December 2022.

COST: $85 + tax

Applications are now closed for the 2022 Math Mentorship Program. 2023 Math Mentorship applications will be open in September.
